Lets start things off by saying how much I've missed you. So far this season I've only been to one game! One game! And I was a little preoccupied, so I'm not sure I remember much beyond the fact that Fiers pitched. Pretty pathetic, I know. But I live halfway across the country, so I'm doing the best I can.
But the good news is I get to see your next four games! Wednesday thru Saturday I'll be on hand rocking the royal blue with pride. (I'm more of a retro logo girl, no disrespect to the current logo)
There's a lot of pressure on a lot of teams right now. It's the tail end of the season, and it seems like everyone is still in the chase for a playoff spot. But I won't put any more playoff pressure on you. My one and only request is this: I want to see some excellent baseball played in the next four days. The type of baseball I know you are capable of. No more. No less. Playoffs or not, I have been looking forward to this week for more than a year, and I'd like to be able to walk into my office on Monday morning with my head held high. Why yes, my Milwaukee Brewers were in town. And they were spectacular.
