| BYM on the Run |
While in college, the four of us lived together in a giant yellow house, fondly referred to as the Big Yellow Mansion. Living together in the BYM for two years was an amazing experience; but since then, we've scattered four different directions to take on the next phase of our lives. Now we stay connected through long phone conversations, short text messages, and BYM on the Run.
Why 986 miles?
It's the distance from the BYM in La Crosse to my new apartment in Alexandria, VA.
What was the goal?
To collectively finish those miles before the girls visit me in early April 2011 and we run the Cherry Blossom Festival 10 mile race.
The Race
On April 3, 2011 the four ladies of the BYM ran the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Race, we exceeded our mileage goal, and are onto our next set of individual adventures!
Current Goal
315.2 miles between the four us by September 24 when we'll all be in La Crosse, WI for the Maple Leaf Road Race 5 Mile Run.
Why 315.2?
It's the distance we'll all have to drive to get to the race site. Ange and I from Milwaukee (we're not counting the miles I have to fly to get from DC to Milwaukee), Hannah from Eau Claire-ish, and Maggie from near by La Cresent, MN.
